General FAQ's
I have an application that keeps crashing.
Applications can crash for a variety of reasons. You may want to start by checking for software updates. It’s also important to note whether the application crashes when opening a specific file. If it’s only one file causing the problem, the application may be fine - the file itself may be corrupt.

I can’t print.
Check the obvious first. Are you selecting the correct printer? You can verify this by choosing your printer from the drop down dialogue box. Can other computers print to the same printer? Try deleting and adding the printer through the System Preferences application. If you recently upgraded your operating system to Mac OS X 10.6, you may need to install a new driver that is Snow Leopard compatible.
Question ID: 61
How can I make my computer faster?
You may be able to increase the speed of your computer by adding more memory (RAM) to your computer, or increasing the size and speed of your hard drive. If you have an Intel based Mac, you can also upgrade your operating system to Snow Leopard.

Every time I start my computer, it freezes and tells me I have to restart.
You are probably experiencing a kernel panic. Most people tend to think that this indicates a problem with their Mac hardware, but most of the time it’s due to corrupt software or an incomplete software updates. The problem can also be caused by incompatible peripherals. We can diagnose the cause of kernel panics quickly, and get your Mac up and running in no time.

My computer is stuck at the Apple logo with spinning gear.
This can indicate a problem with your operating system or hard drive. If this happened after an unclean shutdown, let the machine run - it’s checking the integrity of the drive. If it still doesn’t boot up after several minutes, you may have a larger problem. Contact us for a more thorough diagnosis.
Question ID: 57
My computer says I’m running low on disk space. What can I do?
You should always have at least 10% of your hard drive free for the system to write to. The first thing you can do is stop saving new files until you free up disk space. In most cases, we can upgrade the size of your hard drive and transfer over your existing data. Please call us for a quote.
